With the Stone of Tears in hand, he reaches the Pillars of Creation in an effort to seal the many rifts opening up to the Underworld, but before long comes face to face with his biggest enemy. In the meantime, Kahlan falls into the control of the omnipotent Sister Nicci, who sends the Mother Confessor on a mission of death. Hopefully Richard can win against the biggest enemy in his life and Kahlan can again live together with Richard happily.
